I had so much fun today getting to know my new readers in my reading groups by using my new mini book instead of doing a survey. Honestly, the students seem to enjoy it too! This year, I’ve decided to do the things that I’ve been wanting to do instead of things that I’ve always done. Sometimes you have to trust your mom & teacher instincts .
